In 2005, New Covenant School stepped tentatively into the realm of live theater. We needed stronger arts integration into our curriculum, so the drama program was born. Our first full-length production was A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2006. The program grew and NCS alumni can proudly say they have taken part in great shows like Hamlet (2007), Nightfall with Edgar Allan Poe (2008), Tartuffe (2009), The Curious Savage (2010), Much Ado About Nothing (2009), Midsummer Night's Dream (2006 and 2011) and even Les Miserables (in conjunction with Montessori School of Anderson, 2011).
Since the very beginning, we have wanted our actors and audience to love the shows and be proud of their artistic design and marketing. Taking cast photos and distributing great posters helps pump up excitement as opening night draws near. Enjoy the posters in this collection.
